Happy Friday!!!
Whatcha got planned for the weekend???
We'll be working on the Plymouth, going to set the body back on the frame and get the rest of the work done to route lines, cables, etc. from the body to the frame, then blow it apart and start getting things ready for paint... Also going to try to find time to haul a couple new acquistions home, a '57 Chebby and a '69 Mustang...
Hope everyone has a good weekend and gets in some worthwhile work and or fun with their favorite Hot Rod!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Depending on what this tropical depression does to us rain wise, we were planning on spraying primer on more of Dans rpu body this weekend. Those plans might fall apart if what they are predicting happens.
Sounds like you have a couple of nice new projects coming home Dave.

I'm going to try to put a fuel pump on the Merc. I had a gas can (plastic) sitting on a platform high enough so the gas could flow to the fuel pump with a temporary line. I cranked long enough that if the pump was working it should have got gas to the carburetor. It was dry, I gave it a shot of starting fluid and it fired up just long enough to burn the fluid. The car has a later 302 I'm hoping by taking the pump to the Auto Store they can give me the right one. Other then that I'll just be sweating like crazy in the heat and humidity. So for those who have nothing to work on enjoy the weekend.

No work on the hot rod this weekend... We are heading up with the family to our beach house. If I would have been home I would have been at the Goodguys event in Puyallup.
Cheers,

Time to crawl under my '31 and finish up the 'punch list' - that is if the heat and humidity are within reason. I've procrastinated too long and the car needs m-i-l-e-s on it now that it's licensed and insured. No known shows locally to attend.Dave W

Thanks for the wishes Dave, not much car stuff for me this week-end. I plan to work on the house addition on Saturday and then Sunday afternoon we are gonna go out to hear some blues with some friends, accompanied by a tasty beverage or two.
PatOf course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

Hey guys, whatever you are doing, please be safe and happy doing it.
I would like to be at Puyallup show too but just a bit too far to travel. And Evolvo, if you meet up with Uncle Bob,say hi from me too,and please ,lots of photos.
Hoss, your plans sound just cool for another hot summers day, goodluck with the sore head come monday.
Stu, you guys are so fortunate to have so many neat bands etc on your doorstep to go and see, enjoy.
For all you other guys, letz all be thankful that we woke up this morning able to see the happy face of our families , God Bless..
Oh Greg, don't forget the life jackets for those young grandkids if you are going fishin'.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Well, slept in for an hour or so,then slow start to the day...Would like to be working on the Customline, but the house needs a bit more panel and paintwork first... A fine winter morning down here, and lucky enough to be working in the sun...Might just have to spend some time on the 69 Mustang I am helping a friend rebuild...just panel damage..This car was rolled by the second owner when it was just two years old,and then sat in a shed for 25 years, before it was bought by the present owner..Still only has 23000 miles on it..
Hope you all have a good weekend,,mine is kool so far..Micah 6:8
If we aren't supposed to have midnight snacks,,,WHY is there a light in the refrigerator???

Get up with a case of the "happys" this morning, Dave? Good for you.
We have some not-so-pleasant family stuff to tend to this weekend; as we all do, from time to time.
Y'all have a good 'un.Rrumbler, Aka: Hey you, "Old School", Hairy, and other unsavory monickers.
Twistin' and bangin' on stuff for about sixty or so years; beat up and busted, but not entirely dead - yet.

Surfs up thanks to Bonnie...at least I'm enjoying the ride!
Yep. And I seem to move 1 thing and it displaces something else with 1/2 of that landing on the workbench and then I forgot where I was going with this other thing and I'll see something else that...
