Heck Kurt, I don't know if you would be able to get a copy of it now. Mum has it on old vinyl LP 331/3 RPM (remember those?) and I will pull it out andcheck the recording date but from memory it was recorded way back in the late 50"s or early "60's. My mum and step dad were and still are into music and mums record collection must total something like 300 LP's mostly old country and western to our more modern country rock with one or two blues soul one in the collection. One that I treasure is an early Bill Haley and the Comets singing old style country songs recorded before their big hits of the Rock Around the Clock fame, absolutely priceless in my mind..
There is a new group old of the USA that we are hearing alot of now that is really excellent ,Lady Annebel Ithink their name is or something like that.
I find music can be very beneficial to some one whenever one is feeling down mentally and can be uplifting.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

I agree with that!!! I would think you could still get that music though you would probably have to order it and pay for it up front.
I did that for some old Hank Williams SR. a few years back and every time I went looking to play it , it would be missing and I would catch my son with it.
I think we finally wore it out, Love that old Hank stuff!!!
here is a good old one!!

That is so cool ! Mum and I have that concert of the Highway Men on DVD which gets an airing regularly when not much is on the box to watch. My favourite of that group would be Waylon Jennings followed by Mr Johnny Cash but all have survived many years in the industry until sadly Johnny was taken. Mum has Hank Williams Snr LP's in her collection too so tomorrow I will dig one or two out and crank up the phonograph (stereo) for her.
I know this isn't car related by heck Kurt, music is my second biggest love and I feel sorrow for deaf people who must miss out on so much.
Just thinking..cars and music do really do go hand in hand... imagine American Graffiti without those timeless songs....I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Nice song, I'm a fan of the blond, didn't really hear to much once she showed up!
Kind of reminds me of this oldie for some reason. Used to love those Heart Girls!
Slow intro but worth the wait.

Music is such a gateway to our heart and soul – I enjoy a lot of different types and different artists. When I’m working in the garage by myself, it’s usually rock and roll from the ‘50’s through the ‘70’s and its loud (lost some hearing in the service).
When Joanie is in the garage with me, it “Malt Shop Oldies” at her volume. My daughter Diane loves a good Brooks and Dunn and hey – dancing with her to a “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” - I’ll go with that any ol’ time.
In the car, I have a 6 CD changer and I load it up with everything from Jethro Tull and the Moody Blues to Michael W. Smith and Keith Green. I get real proud with a good patriotic tune like Lee greenwood’s “God Bless the USA” and downright cry when Michael W. Smith sings about the “… Lord God Almighty.” And when I hear “Butterfly Kisses” and think of my daughters – well, I’m just putty…
Oh yeah – I like music!

I like most everything except opera, rap, hip hop and anything that resembles them. I play mostly late 50's, early 60's with some later stuff thrown in. My favorites are Buddy Holly, The Everly Brothers, Little Richard, Jack Scott, Eddie Cochran, Duane Eddy, The Wailers,(not the Jamaician BS), Dick Dale (real surf music), and most instrumental rock.Ken Thomas
