    That picture was indeed taken at New England Dragway.

    I ran that car there from late 69 thru 1972.

    I had a 427 bored 1/8" over (452 cubic inches) and had only a set of Lakewood slapper bars and a Lakewood bolt in three point roll bar!!

    My how times have changed.

    I'd love to see the shot you have.
    Buying parts I don't need, with money I don't have, to impress people I don't like

    Yes, I knew that car! One friend ran a whie 66 gto called it Brat. bbc powered (427). Another friend ran a 71 Maverick w\ boss 302. Team of Baptiste & Fernandes. The Maverick guys and myself pooled our resources (meager,lol) and bounced between old bridge, lebanon and NEDW. I'll see if I can find some pictures from them days.
