Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Good Guys Nationals
I attended the show Friday,Saturday and went home Sunday morning discusted. Compaired to last year I see things at the West Coast Nationals in a tail spin. Compaired to other Good Guys Shows that I have been to, Orange County, Del Mar, Columbus Ohio, this show is loosing it's luster fast. The other shows had many more big name vendors and Hot Rod personalities there. Heck at one Columbus show I saw George Barris, Chip Foose, Boyd Coddington, The owner of Speedway Parts and just about every major vendor in the country. Pleasenton has never had that kind of a turn out and this year was a ghost town. Moal and Brizio were there Saturday and that was about it.
Yes I understand that the economy is bad but I go to the West Coast Natonals mainly to meet with the vendors, compair shop and get my parts for the winter. Oh yes and to save a ton of money on shipping charges.
The other shows I go to, like Kool April Nights, are a lot more fun.
This Year the show was mostly a waste of time for me and if Gary doesn't get it together with his vendors, I do not plan on attending many more. I'll need the cash I spend there on entry, food and lodging to pay for shipping charges.Last edited by Vern; 09-02-2010 at 02:14 AM.
I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
