I love different swaps like this one , Barb. Caddy's are just such good engines, especially from that era. Keep us posted on how it's going.

vara you are making me blush. henry i brought the adapter kit and put a chevy th400 to the engine. my rear is a 10 bolt out of a 71 chevelle with 273 gear so it should not over rev the 472. it has the stock torque converter.

my wife came out to the shop once at midnight trying to coax me into the house.

so I look over, and she's there naked and says something like "What do you want me to do?"
I asked her to hand me a 9/16th and I needed some light so to bring the flashlight too.

are you still married or can you remember after she put the knot on your head with the 9/16.

been married to her for 11years, I'm 31 at the time, so there.

That sounds like a lot of the nights I had working on race cars.

I may have thought that but never had the nerve to say it.. I been offered a chance to move a bed out to the shop. lol ain't doing that either. say you got the car runing yet????

working on it as we speak. having a hard time with my 16 year old help disappearing.

i have a bed in the garage. but i have never used it.
