Barb, there is a thread on another forum where a lady has been "restoring" a 32 Ford that was built back in the day...........it is an old hot rod. She reminds me a lot of you in her determination and sticktoitness. She just posted a video of the first ride she got to take today, and it was so cool to see it move under it's own power for the first time in lots of years. It will be equally as cool to see you take that first ride.
You've done good.

on another note my girlfriends came over yesterday to hear me fire up the engine. my youngest friend was amazed that i did all that i have done. she said that she never thought of women doing that kind of thing. that when i talk about my car with them that it does not accure to her just what i am doing. my youngest son charlie was standing there when she said that and told you that it was women that kept things going during WW2 by building the tanks and planes. she said that she knew that but can not imagine that women can do heavy labor. Charlie said that his mom can do anything that she sets her mind too with a little help from her friends. i was so proud of him.BARB

Obviously he's proud of you too. (And well he should be.)Remember, Freedom isn't Free, thousands have paid the price so you can enjoy what you have today.

See what we guys get for giving you gals the right to vote, Barb !
The thing that has been very interesting about your build thread is that you aren't afraid to admit when something goes wrong. I tried to do that in my own build thread and when I screwed up something I laid it out there for all to see. For me, that has made your thread much more fun to read.
It was cool that your Son said those words. We guys sometimes think something but don't feel the need to say it, so he evidently feels deep down that way about you.

Well, it's about time !! I thought I would be dead before you ever posted a video of that baby running. Sounds great. Now we want one of it going down the road.

Yep. And I seem to move 1 thing and it displaces something else with 1/2 of that landing on the workbench and then I forgot where I was going with this other thing and I'll see something else that...
