Prayers Please
I'm asking everyone to say a prayer for Denise. She is in the Hospital for the 2nd time in a month & for the 2nd time she has gotten C. difficile. Just like last time they have put her in insulation because of it. She was in for a week last time & hopefully they will kill the bug once & for all. With her health problem she doesn't need this added to the pile.
She is the love of my life & it eats me up inside when I see things like this happen to her & I am helpless to do anything to help her ....joeDonate Blood,Plasma,Platelets & sign your DONORS CARD & SAVE a LIFE

My heart goes out to you, Joe, and I will certainly pray for Denise's speedy and complete recovery as well as peace and strength for you during this time.
It hurts to see your Baby hurting, especially when there is nothing you can do but hold her hand and pray.

My prayers are with you Joe -
Funny how we gain knowledge - I 've never heard of C. difficile before.
Upon reading, it mmediately occured to me that perhaps yogurt could aid in its treatment, as other 'good' digestive bacteria seem to be the only thing that will actually fight it - as opposed to antibiotics, because they destroy the good bacteria that may fight it off.
Upon hitting google, sure enough, that is one of the suggested treatments.
I'm sure that is being persued as an ongoing treatment as simple as it may sound.
Man - some ingeneous micro-biologist needs to develop a bacterial culture that can be introduced to the digestive tract - and as you said 'kill the bug' once and for all.
May the grace of God guide the minds and hands of those providing treatment.

My prayers will be going out to you both Joe and TRjohn at this time of need..
This site still comes up and smacks me as too how friendly and christain believing all the excellent folk on here are. It certainly reinforces in my mind that with all the horrible stuff hppening around us,we can always find time to talk to God asking for help for others that are more needy than ourselves. God Bless each and every one of you amazing people, thankyou.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Bert this all would be great except part of the problem is some of the wife's other health problems which in itself may be an underlining cause of what's going on. Her stomach empties very slowly at times, to the point that it becomes unhealthy and she gets sick. She was on antibiotics because of the last time this happened & then put on a prescription grade "digestive bacteria"(good bugs) along w/eating yogurt w/those good bugs in it too .
Along w/this she also has fibromyalgia, diabetes, heart problems just to name a few other health problems. I really wish there was a magic pill to fix her

Thank you Joe. It's strange what the good lord sends our way.
You really need to see her. We always have hope.
I lost my right leg back in 99. I was home in 3 days and on the harley in 3 month. I've never really missed it. No big deal, I'm alive.
Seeing your loved one in pain hurts all of us.
I believe there is life on the otherside.
Prayers are sent out for you. Hold her hand.

I got a call late last night from Denise, not only did she sound a lot better but she said she felt better. They have her on Vancomycin which one of the strongest antibiotics out there, so it must be doing its job & killing all those nasty bugs.
She must be feeling better because she said I could even come visit her & she sounded more like the Denise I know & love.
Once again thanks everybody....joeDonate Blood,Plasma,Platelets & sign your DONORS CARD & SAVE a LIFE
