    Hi Pat and a warm good-morning to you,my Irish friend. Now tell me , did you drive yourself to the hospital after your accident??? If so, how the HELL did you manage that without sitting in the seat probably and you just didn't want to inconvenience the ambulance service??? As every body is ordering you to do, please take extra care of yourself and you will remain in my prayers for a speedy recovery, powered by a big block of your choice.

    Thumbs up Welding accident

    Pat;
    Glad to hear your gonna be OK. Usually its accidents like that alcohol was involved, just kidding! But I'll bet there's some good Irish whiskey involved in the recovery process, try Jamesons', it beats Vikoden hands down. I know from experience after laying the Harley down!

    Pat, Glad to hear that you are back home, I pray the recovery is complete, quick and as pain free as possible. If you could share how it occurred it might be a lesson for all of us.

    Pat
    Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

    Pat, I know what you’re talking about with all the places hot slag can go, when it goes in the ear it sounds like crisp bacon being fried, the eyes the next day when the sun hits it, sure makes you look like a baby with the tears. I've had it go in my boot and try to get that off just can't get to it quick enough. I had a partner flick the slag just as I raised my hood and it went down my shirt collar and the shirt held it until I could get it out. I think of the two I would go with the stitches over a bad burn.
    I Hope you heal up ok. It hurts just thinking about it.

    Pat,

    Glad to see you home. Like some others on this board I don't know you except through your posts but know you are one of the good guys. I just weld as a hobby but managed to catch my frayed pants legs on fire once. My 10 year old son had to tell me "dad, your on fire". Luckily was able to pat the fire out with little damage excepting some lost hair. May you have a speedy and full recovery.

    Jack.
