News about Pat McCarthy
To the people out in Club Hot Rod world,I have both bad and good news for you.Pat McCarthy has been injured in a welding accident. He has 2nd degree burns from hin neck to his hip on the right side of his back.He should be home from the hospital in a few days.He is at Huley Medical center in Flint Michigan.
Now the good news,he told me to post this and let you people know whats going on.He will make a full recovery, and he is just as crabby as ever,so thats a good sign.I posted this as beast as I know,as I am not a computor guru. Please cut me some slack. The accident happened on Thursday. He will be home in a few days,so look for him on Club Hot Rod Fourms then.Thank you Street Racer.

I just called to see if he was still in there and he is.
I called the nurse to see if he was awake and she said he was asleep.
So I told her not to bother him.
He is in room 529 bed 2. The hosptal number is 810 262 9000.
I would go thru the nurse to see if he is awake or even wants any calls.

Wow. I'm glad to hear he will be alright. Will there be any permanent affects from this or do they expect his skin to heal without scaring? Pat I'll say a prayer for you. Hope they gave good pain meds. Post when you can and let us know how you are!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

I hate seeing headlines like this one, but glad to see the explanation isn't as bad as it could have been. Perhaps some Irish whiskey applied internally will speed the recovery. Crabby is a good sign BTW.....Get well soon Patrick...Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Sorry to hear about Pat's Accident. We're praying for a speedy & complete recovery. As a burn victim myself I know how painful this type of injury can be. Nothing to take lightly, do what the docs say."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.
"LIVE" your life like you could die tomorrow.
