    Happy Birthday to Me

     



    Happy Birthday to Me....... Really just an excuse to post this drawing. My youngest daughter drew this from one of my die casts to give me today. I think this is the first car she has drawn. Yesterday she asked which one of my many diecasts was my favorite. I gave here the 32 Duces Wild roadster. Right after I gave it to here I figured she was going to draw it, she likes to make me cards, and I thought I gave here just about the hardest car to draw that I had. But I thought it turned out well enough to hang on the garage wall above my desk..................

    Thanks to all. I do need to find a frame before it gets messed up. And she has been reading, some on how cars work and such. She will come out into the shop and point at various parts and try to name them. I'm not that sure that she is that interested, maybe cause thats what I'm into. But she seams very interested in a career in engineering. That would be great. I took some areospace...... but I was making more a the service station than the two outa work areospace engineers that just pumped gas there. That was mid 70's. I figured I didn't need a degree to pump gas. Who knew the industry would come outa the toilet. Yeah 18 year old kids, who hate school, don't see too far into the future..................

    Thanks Agin to all. My daughter is my youngest and 8 years younger than my son, with two older sisters. She will be 14 on Christmas eve. I hope she does go into engineering. It should be a good field. But at shy of 14 she has alot of time to change her mind. It really would be nice to get one thru college. Read as 3 that didn't go..................
