Awesome, Y'all have every reason to be proud, Joe.
We need more young men like Joe Jr.
May his life be a blessed and successful one.
God Bless our Troops !
P.S. don't know what Y'all been feeding him but he is definitely "full grown" !Last edited by MelloYello; 11-15-2010 at 09:44 AM.

Joe started out in ROTC and believe or not his ROTC Captain told him he wouldn't make a good military person. I've told Joe he needs to show up at school in his Dress Blues just to say hello to him, just to let that asshole see what a good MARINE he has became.
Tell your daughter & boy friend if they decide to go into the Marines be prepared for the hardest thing they have ever done in their lives & good luck to both of them for stepping up to do something that takes BIGG BALLS to do along w/a lot of guts...joeDonate Blood,Plasma,Platelets & sign your DONORS CARD & SAVE a LIFE

Outstanding, Joe. That brings back fond memories of my time on the "Rock" although no "Blues". Your son is a fine example of what a squared away Marine sergeant should look like.Ken Thomas

I went over that with both of them.. They are gone for sure.. It's the same with them in ROTC with their Captain.. My little girl is a very strong will person.. She wants to try anything that someone say's she can't do.. I think she would out last me in the marines.. She is very tuff.. And as far as her boy friend.. He's one he** of a man already for being able to put up with her.. My hat's off to him.. And I think he would be a he** of a marine.. He already has the heart of a marine..Set no Limit's on yourself !!!!

Yeah your little boy grew up to be A REALLY PROUD MARINE and to have a FATHER JUST AS PROUD OF HIS SON IS AWSOME.
I wear my ARMY Tee Shirts when it's warm and we go to the City. People come up to me and asked if I'm in the Army? I say know but I was and I have family members that are serving. I always end up in conversation with a Veteran if he has anything that shows that he or she was in the Service. I'm Proud that I served even if it was State side and I've told on this site several times that my brother was in Viet Nam and died when he was 62 plus all five of us brothers served.
You're Son and his Wife look very happy. Thanks for posting the pictures.
Also hope your Wife is doing ok.

Nice pictures from both of you guys. My brother was telling me the Army is changing it's dress uniform from olive green to navy blue. He wasn't too happy about it, but personally I do prefer blue!
Thank them for their service from me." "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

It's good to be a proud Father you have bragging rights. My son just got back to Okinawa last week also in the Marine Corp. He is stationed on board ship right now seeing the sights of the world. I couldn't be prouder of these young men, being a Vet myself I know what is expected of them. They deserve their Honor, our respect and everyones THANKS for what they offer!
