Fairmont City, Il
Does anybody live in or near Fairmont City,Il? I'm looking at a car that's for sale there and I live near Sacramento,CA. I'm trying to save going there if I can find someone that could take a look at it for me.
Thanks,
Jim

Jim I'll tell you right now, that town ain't much to look at or go to.
That is unless you want booze, bet on horses & eat at Jack n the Box.
BUT, that being said I live about 20miles from there.
Give me a phone number & address & I'll go by take a look at it & shoot some pictures for you.
By the way what is it?????...joeDonate Blood,Plasma,Platelets & sign your DONORS CARD & SAVE a LIFE

Gateway Classic Cars
Hi Joe and HWORRELL,
You guys are right on, it is Gateway and the phone number is 800 231-3616 or the local number is 618 271-3000 and the guy I've been talking to is Brad Kline and he seems like a nice guy.
What I'm concerned about is although it looks great in the ad is it going to be one of those 50 footers. You know what I mean, they look great from 50 ft. but once you get up close the paint is chipped on the edges of everything and the upholsetry is frayed here and there and there's an oil leak under the engine or rear end. I guess you can't expect it to be a show car but I'm curious as to how beat it is.
It woudl be really great if you all could take a look at it for me and I would definately owe you, Both of you.
Thanks for now,
Jim Emerson

Buick
Joe,
Sorry about that. It's a 1934 Buick 4 dr sedan, blueish green and black and it's a Hot Rod or street rod. You shouldn't have any trouble picking it out. I emailed Brad at the dealership so if you don't want him to know you're the one I sent just don't tell him. I though it would be easier on you but it's your choice. If you get a chance see what the underside looks like, Please?
Thanks again,
Jim Emerson

Checking on car
Joe,
Don't worry about it! Take care of your own things. Cars can always wait and if you don't make it, so what?
