GoodGuys Snotsdale AZ 2010
We got in the gate about 10 am and the polo field was almost full of cars. Walked the swap meet and shook our heads regarding the stupid prices of stuff....and it wasnt selling for that reason.
Kenny Davis had a spectacular Nomad that he build for his Dad.....I need to adopt him so he'll do one for me.....
The yellow Ford is Tim MacNeil's.....he bought my Dearborn Deuce and also has a nice '41 sedan delivery
The roadster is from Prescott, AZ....can it belong to DA GUY?

More pics of the grounds. There were more cars than last year and noticeably more vendors.

Yep that is his '32 unless he has recently sold it,and man it must be clocking up the miles now. The sign of a well build car eh. Thanks for the photos also, much appreciated, never ceases to amaze me the excellent turn out of vehicles at these events.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

I saw that tan '32... and for a minute thought it was the "robotmobile"... finally finished! :-)

Ken, we don't go to Prescott until Thurs.....until then....
HotRodPaint....I sold my '32 body to Tim in Canada...he almost has it finished.
He owns the yellow 48 in the first pics above....he tells me that I should buy a finished
car since I dont have enough years left to build one at my pace.

Not to mention the fact that it's a great time to buy almost anything! Let me know if I should keep my eyes open for something neat. :-)

Just got in from there.
Drove the last 95 miles home in the rain.
I'm warm now and the roadster is "Drip dryin" on the lift out in the shop. When I get to where I was goin, I forgot why I went there>

My buddy Randy has posted up 350+ pics here: http://public.fotki.com/SRCruzzin/20...s-sw-national/
Pic #59 is Kenny's Nomad, and toward the end (341?) is da34guy sitting behind his roadster. #225 was a real surprise for me, looks like my ol' '55 based on the hood mods, color, and polished vintage ET III wheels. With so many '55 Chevs out there it should be hard to spot an old friend, especially after more than a decade, but the combination of that color scheme, hood and wheels would be an enormous coincidence. Supposedly my old '32 3w coupe is down in that neck of the woods too, but didn't see it in these pics.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
