I saw a show on TV a while back about this collection. I think they said it costs him $ 5 Million a year to maintain it. Not bad for a guy who said he was a Chevrolet mechanic at one time.
Very impressive collection, thanks for sharing.

Don,
I wondered the same thing, how did this guy go from twisting wrenches in the '60's to having enough disposable cash to build this collection over ten years?? Amazing! His website, http://www.carsofdreams.com/ says that they are closing down in 2011, other than a previously scheduled March event, for a "tune up" of the facility.Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

He must have been a very good mechanic. Guys like him make us regular folk realize there is a whole world out there that we can't imagine. How much money must he have that these are his TOYS????
When I see things like this I think this must be hell, and I must have really made someone up there mad when I was alive.

Don, he went from turning wrenches as a very good mechanic to owning a very successful dealership, then moved on the building high end yachts. Read his Bio on the website, it's a real American success story.

I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
