Woman Bites Off Husband's Tongue During Kiss - Goes to Jail

A woman is accused of biting off her husband's tongue as he went to give her a good-night kiss, according to authorities in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
Police were alerted to the wild scene when the man tried to call 911 for an ambulance, but couldn't be understood as his tongue had been bitten off.
The Associated Press cites Sgt. Terry Meyer and the story takes another odd turn as the spokesman "says the husband and wife were singing Christmas carols when paramedics arrived."
The 57-year old wife reportedly threw a coffee cup at them when they arrived on the scene.
The man with half a tongue still left in his mouth and singing Christmas Carols said he didn't want his wife arrested.
The police ignored his plea and took her to jail on possible charges of mayhem and domestic violence.
He went to a hospital to try to get his tongue re-attached.
