Rhapsody in Steel
Made in 1933, this animation depicts the story of a Ford worker who goes home from work one car short of the production target and dreams that the outstanding one is built by a fairy. The car is a 1933 V8. The film shows the factory production line, plus an exceptionally detailed, comprehensive look at the V8 construction in all its stages

Great video - you could almost put an entire '33 or '34 Ford together using it. I can only imagine how long it took as all those parts had to be moved by hand and the 'fairy' hand drawn in one frame at a time. The wonders of computersDave W

This reminds me of the films they used to show at intermissions at the picture show!
