I know your right Tech, I am just sick of spending all my time in the Hospitals.
I was on my way home from the VA, Had to have my knees drained and shot up with steroids so I can half way walk right.
Hey Don; do you think that crumple zone is in the trunk of that car???
I wonder where that roll cage is he was talking about???
HE! HE! HE!

That doesn't look like a smart car at least not the one sold in this country. tail lights are wrong, the side window goes to the back edge of the car on the US one and that car is 5 lug while I believe smart cars are 3? I wouldn't be surprised if crash standards were drastically increased to import them here. Either way I wouldn't want to be hit head on in anything by a semi and I'd probably rather take my chances in a smart car than on a motorcycle..
and vara..looks to me like there is definately a crumple zone right there in the front of that car. roll cage? probably not.'35 Ford coupe- LT1/T56, '32 Ford pickup, 70 GTO convertible, 06 GTO

Well got my estimates for my damage on the old Burban.
One guy said $750 bucks and the other said $1,360 bucks.
Which on do you think I went with??? HE! HE! HE!
So I put in in the shop today and they are gonna touch up some other little nicks and scrapes for me while it's in there. Plus they are gonna install all my new chrome molding that I had gotten a while back but have not had a chance to put on, It's just 3-M tpye stuff. So I get to drive a Caddy rental car around for a few days anyway.

Kurt glad to hear your O.K.. I got hit almost the same way two years ago, when traffic came to a stop on the freeway. I ended up being the third car in line and didn't get slammed into the car in front of me, because I was able to leave plenty of space between me and the car in front of me. The car that hit the car behind me was going 55mph on a cell phone. Threw the car in the middle into me twice. before she came to a complete stop. I ended up with whiplash about 1 hour later at work(a hospital in my case) I went to the Emergency room and got sent home on ice packs and motrin. 2 days later I was fine, but because I went to the Emergency Room, the insurance company processed the claim as an injury. They offered me 1200 dollars to say I was o.k. which was true. If I didn't go, I would have lost a days wages at work, so I guess it worked out, but most important here is that you are o.k." Well the first two cars were totaled and the old step side chevy would have been totaled too but the additor helped him keep it just under the limit of being totaled
so that he could keep his truck. I talked to the additor this morning when he looked at my burban. Glad that guy gets to keep his truck anyway but it may cost him a little though. Thanks Stovens I am glad yours worked out for you too.

Well I got me Suburban back the other day and it looks better then ever.
If figured since it was in there I would have them do a couple other things while
it was in the shop. I had a couple small dings in the side that I had them fix plus there was a missing lt emblem that they put back on, and I had bought all new 1in. chrome molding. then they re did the pin strips.
So it's looking first class again after 8 years and 100,500 miles.
