It has been fun, all year long. I appreciate the opportunity to help so many fellow hot rodders in one place at one time. And be helped myself. Every time I get on, I learn something new from someone. I like that. Thanks fellas & gals.

This year has gone a little too quick for me..but the dull days have been lightened up by visiting this site..and EN lightened by all the very knowledgable people on here..I like this place, and its inhabitants..I hope to lock horns with some of you in person some day...
Might be looking for a bit of advice for a cam for the 351w that is going to get put together for the F100 in the new year..A stick that will lean more to the torque than HP,as its stroked, and I want to be able to do a bit of towing with it..
Anyway,,its 8.30pm down here,so Christmas is just around the corner, for us..Will check in again, tomorrow, and start ya countdown..

Merry Xmas Ladies and Gentlmen, well it is down under here now and just to rub the salt in, we are going to have a beautiful suuny summer day. And I missed that big fella again last night but I could only stay awake for 10 minutes so must be getting older. Well we are in for an excellent day sharing with friends from church for lunch and the day so I pray all is well for everybody up there.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY
Our last gas grill died a slow death in the elements. I know they make covers, but my wife would most likely forget to put the cover on or would put it on when it was still HOT. I'm probably as guilty. So, I decided I'd build a hood off the gazebo but then thought that would just be a head knocker and probably wouldn't do much good 3' above the grill. So this afternoon I came up with this set up. I just sandwiched a couple 1" aluminum angle pieces between the grill & the side trays. Cut a piece of .080 sign scrap, put a bead around the back side to keep the rain from dripping inside the grill & folded the edges over on the pan break. I bolted it down to the angle with 4 stainless #6 button head allen bolts. It's still easy to get at the controls and they should stay a little drier now. Just got it assembled and am doing a test fire. Works good. Now to see if Cheryl will notice before tomorrow. I doubt she will since she will get home after dark.

I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
