Jack, I know what you mean....I am still getting hang up phone calls since
I took a picture of him next to the 30" wire wheels at SEMA a few years ago.

In Virginia you register them once, they give you a registration card to keep in the car, bolt on the plates, and you are good to go. I think you do have to re-register every 5 years, but no state inspection sticker required.
