    Barry Lobeck .. RIP

     



    Today we lost a LEGEND in HOTRODS ..Barry Lobeck passed away after he bout with Cancer. Barr is a Icon of the Hot Rodding world and will be missed by all.

    OMG, his name has been around forever. So sorry to hear that. Hasn't he been ill for quite some time now? I think I remember seeing a picture of him somewhere and he was in a wheelchair. Could be mistaken on that though. The hot rod shop in Heaven is filling up pretty fast from all the ones we have lost in recent years.

    I believe I spoke briefly with him last spring at NSRA York, but might have been in 2009.

    Another of the rodding icons is now gone.

    What is starting to bother me about these guys is the hole they are leaving in the so-called 'traditional' hot rodding world and the fact that there really aren't replacements coming through the ranks.
