Holy craparoney - another way for Americans (as well as some Brits) to ignore walking for some exercise and just get a bit plumper.
Regardless it is a neat gadget and will probably lead to more useful "gadgets".Dave W

Oh yeah, I can see myself riding that one. I have enough trouble not falling off of my computer chair, that thing looks downright dangerous! It might be able to stand up without falling over, but I can't.
I have a friend who was riding one of those Segways , it went in a hole and he took a header and broke his foot. Like IC2 said, it isn't like we need more excuses not to get some excercise as it is.

You notice they used women for the demo................................if they'd used guys you just know there'd have been a race!!!!!
Next of course will be demands that medicare/government pay for one like folks do now with those electric scooters.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

Well, I suppose that would include me....except mine came from the VA and not Social Security.... Last summer, for the first time in about 15 years I was actually able to go to a car show and be able to get around and see more then the first 3 cars inside the gate!!!!! Thanks taxpayers, I suppose I should feel guilty now?????Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Quite clever. While watching that, a number of things ran through my head: Those girls are sure skinny (and obviously lightweight); I wonder how that thing would handle a fata$$ like me?; me on one of those things would look like an elephant riding a unicycle; wouldn't that be great for marginally limited folks?; and a lot of other mundane stuff. Roadster32 is thinking on the same lines as me, since I weigh in the mid-twenties. At this time, when I want to go anywhere like a car show, I carry a "Walkstool" with me, and when my leg gets to bothering enough, or my back goes on strike from trying to compensate for the leg, I just unfold the Walkstool and sit; if I go with someone, they just go on ahead, and pick me up on the way back, so, like Dave S, I miss a bit of stuff. I'm thinking more and more, that having a mobility "device" would be kind of nice.Rrumbler, Aka: Hey you, "Old School", Hairy, and other unsavory monickers.
Twistin' and bangin' on stuff for about sixty or so years; beat up and busted, but not entirely dead - yet.

Dave the first thing I thought of was that would be great for a car show! After the last show i went to, I was fading fast after walking around for 3 hours, it would have been nice to have a motor scooter, or one of these to cruise around a little more! This little thing looks fairly portable. Wonder what the cruising range and power limits are?" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.
A "skip" = a dumpster.... but he says it's proper english??? Oh.. Okay. Most of us can see the dating site pun, "matching" with an arsonist.. But a "SKIP? How is that a box? It must all be...
