406Rich - Yep that's about the same for us here to the west of you by about 80 miles. Last night we had one heck of a lightning storm come thru, dropped 1.16 inches of rain in the last 24 hours according the rain guage outside! One boom of lightning was so loud I thought we might lose power from a transformer strike, but all is well.

I think old man winter needs a new hobby! Central Illinois has about an inch of ice on everything and expecting more. I am going to suggest a hotrod build to him. Sure will be glad when Spring is in bloom.

Hey Dave, we'll get it. Unfortunately, with the sloooow shipping from down under, it probably won't get here until about July!

Dang Charlie, that pic and the one's Dave puts up make me shiver just looking at them. It's dang cold here in East Texas now and not supposed to get about freezing for 3 or 4 days but it's nothing like you "Yanks" are going thru.

Isn't this all Al Gore's fault anyway?

Golllleee - I love an old fashioned winter (but really prefer a new fangled spring). We are in between today's 5" snow and tomorrows 12" dump. And the temp is way up at a moderate 15* Icicles, long uns, are hanging off the roof for the first time in several years my tractor is making strange noises until it warms up ----- just another wintry day that I can putter with on car

They are saying 18+ in some spots I went out and plowed the drive at 6pm so wife could get in from work and you can't even tell a truck was out there. Glad she has 4 wheel drive in the suburban
