I think, in todays financial times, more of this home invasion/smash & grab business is going to be regular.

Looks like guns are not the only thing I need at my home.

I'm glad to see the dogs did what comes natural ... keeping varments out of the house. Give em an xtra treat for me.

Place a very large dog bowl and an old pair of size 16 boots on the front porch. Might also help to toss a few spent cartridge casings down around the bowl. Most ne'er-do-wells will get the idea.

I like the "spent brass" idea.

We've had a few very good dogs in our lifetime, one was a German Shepard, and the other was a Doberman. When we were living in California my then wife was in the bathroom doing her makeup and a guy tried coming through the window. He was met by the Dobie who was trying to get through the window the other direction. No telling what the dog prevented that night. She got an extra treat though, that's for sure.
