Count Down Begins... See you folks in about a week
At 6:30am Monday morning I go in for the 1st of 3-4 surgeries . I have to have both of my knees replaced, getting the right one done in the AM & then hopefully in 2-3months they will do the left one. Then and only then can I have my shoulder rebuilt that was supposed to be done last Sept., I couldn't get it done then because Denise was in the hospital in ICU. I have told people I'm to damn busy taking care of my wife & mom to be sick. Well they will be own they own or asking someone else for a while.
See you folks later, & wish me luck.....joeDonate Blood,Plasma,Platelets & sign your DONORS CARD & SAVE a LIFE

Hmmmm, our own "bionic man"................well, except you don't get to sleep with Farrah Fawcett.................and given her current state that probably wouldn't be near as much fun as it once might have been.........but..........uh, never mind.
Hope you do well Joe. The post op therapy will be a lot like work, but stick to it. Here's wishing you the best outcome.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

My Wiffy said to tell you to be sure and do your deep knee flexing excersises so it doesn't get stiff and need "crunching" later on..

A bit late, but I hope that your new knee went in fine. Several folks I know have said that they are doing a lot better then they had for years with bionics.Dave W

Good luck with the surgerys Joe. I had my R knee done almost 2years ago not bad at all and wouldn't think twice to have the other one done(if needed) Both my shoulders need fixing but 3 Drs told me they would be worse if I had them worked on..only problem can't kneel on new knee. but there are ways around thatCharlie
