I know this is all in fun, but after reading that article, if truth be known Jerry Kugel and both of his sons have gone over 300 in a stock body Trans Am. Just thought it would be interesting to know.

Oh yeah, it'll make it across the pond eventually, for sure!!! I've even heard that some guys in European countries have to pay a $500 disposal fee when they dump a girlfriend!!!!!
All the governments are running out of ways to tax us poor folk who can't afford to pay the taxes we owe now, it's either the Excessive Sex Tax, Disposal Fees, or tax the wealthy who could actually afford to pay taxes!!! (and we all know that just ain't gonna happen.......)Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

You are "stuck" with some pol or another - so why not do more then vote (assuming that you do vote since over 50% of the legal voting age American population don't bother to vote in their primaries or elections). Work for the political party that offers what you want to make those changes. People complain but a society without some sort of leadership - is anarchy. (oh crap, got my soapbox out again)Dave W

I rarely miss a vote on anything as I've done all of my adult life. I cast my first vote in 1964 when I was stationed in Okinawa and have missed very few since.Ken Thomas

IMO that's the right answer, Dave!!!! In 1978 I was convicted of felony drug possession, and as a result wasn't allowed to vote until the completion of my parole--1986. The old saying, you don't know what you have till it's gone became very true for me when I couldn't vote!!! I don't vote in every election, some of the local and state elections are for such bogus causes that I don't even want to be known as someone who voted for or against such BS! But national elections, I never miss! Used to be a lot more active politically then I am now, mainly becuase there's just no one out there that realy trips my trigger as someone deserving of support. Tom Daschle was my man! He has his faults (don't we all?) but the reason I supported Tom in every election campaign was because of the things he accomplished for Vets.....though it did mean I had to endure some of his agenda that I didn't really agree with.
I keep hoping someone will come along running for public office that actually has something new to say or a plan that just might change the status quo. Too bad, I kinda miss the campaign stuff! 2012 looks to be just another case of DDSS, but I'm gonna vote when it's election time! Sometimes the lesser of two evils is the only choice to make at the national level but in that 2012 election will be a lot of initiative and referendum issues for the state that do concern me!!! With our do nothing Congress, the President seems to be nothing more then the first one everyone points fingers at when the chit hits the fan, so maybe I'll vote for the guy with the biggest shoulders cuz he can carry the most blame????
Anyway, from someone who at one time lost the privilege of voting, all I'll say is get yer butt out there and do it!!!! These slimy, conniving politicians slide a lot of other issues in on the ballots and maybe you can't do much to change national politics but your vote does have a heck of a lot of impact on state and local issues!!!!
You can have your soapbox back now, Dave!!! Send me a bill for the rental!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I was already getting pissed and I don't have a car worth anything!!! HE! HE! HE!
I was thinking some poor guy that saved his nickles and dimes to get a fine ride
will have to sell it now. Then I started thinking Don and Dan are not gonna be happy about this. Poor Dan just got his car together and now he'll have to sell it.
