Well for a bunch of guys who don't like golf or don't know what it is, then you sure must have spent a lot of time watching it, going by all the "opinions" on here.
I'd much rather see threads about what these celebs drive, than see threads about burying some guy/gal that they have most likely NEVER met.

Woods drives an Escalade...you can't miss it, the front end is messed up!

I don't think it's essential to have met him to say that my observation of Woods is that he's a good golfer, but probably not such a good person. Who gives a flip what he drives? If it's something special he should join up here and tell us about it.....

Well. I think it is safe to say that the great majority of us have met Tiger Woods with all the tv exposure given this young man. And it is obvious that, as a role model, Tiger has failed miserably, and continues to do so. I've played the game of golf, and this has not changed my opinion of the man. Respect is something each of must earn. Tiger certainly has not earned my respect, regardless of how well he plays the game of golf or what he drives. Sad! Now, back to hot rodding.

    My point exactly.
I come on here because I was told it was a cool Hot Rodding site.
    Not a "trash people" site.
I can find those forums anywhere on the net.

Just "constructive" criticism. No profanity. No vulgarity. No trashing. I don't think the guys on other sites would have, or should have pulled any punches as those here did. Everyone has their opinion and, for now, has the freedom to express it. So please give them a break. If anyone has been offended, please accept my apologies. Now, back to hot rodding.

I'm of the opinion that "ALL" members (a non-gender word) here are mature and responsible adults and they always seem to stay within the limits of this board. After all, we cannot live by "hot rods" alone ! - - hmmmm, or can we?

Sometimes we "play" a bit hard here and occasionally the conversation drifts towards other past times. Then sometimes feathers get ruffled - but, luckily most of the folks here are person enough, to be politically correct, to step back and either explain what they meant or apologize. Try doing that on many of the other auto related forums, unmentioned, and your chances are getting slim for recovery..

Now, since this therad is in the lounge where any other subject is fair game, I don't have a problem, personally with the subject. If it is a personal criticism - well that isn't good etiquette - anywhere!!!

see there`s room for more dissagreements . i dont consider it a sport .. just like bowling or playing poker .. you dont have to be an " athelete " to be good at golf or bowling .. i think a "sport " involves atheletics

I think that when the TV read his lips, he was saying something like "I'm going to DisneyLand" but, in his case, it wasnt DisneyLand......

If I had to give $100mil up in a divorce, it would affect my golf game for a few years too. And my eating habits, my drinking, etc.
