thats the wonderful public school system in fince action .
its ok i HAVE the cad but i do not have an ls, for a complete drop in one from the junkyard its 1200 bucks just for a 5.3 a 6.0 or even an ls1 are big money.
ls2's are out of the picture moneywise. i just thought it would be fricking cool because no ones done it yet, that ive seen.

I went to the store I get most of my automotive bits and pieces from, and asked the pimply faced junior behind the counter for an oil pack and a filter for a 302w,and he asked me what it was,,,V8,I said...oh,what year?he asked..late 60s/early 70s,,I replied...Fumble,fumble...Ahh,what sorta car is it??he asked.. 1960 F100,,I replied..Whats that?he asked...You got a chassis number??Thats no good to ya,I said..its had an engine swap....About then,I got a guy who knew me,and what I wanted...I just ask for the filter by number now...Micah 6:8

that edelbrock manifold/msd ignition unit works super

the msd one is 10x better its programable whereas the edelbrock one has presets

the one we used was programable but i don't know if we got it with manifold or separate--anyway was a super package

you will probably have to cut the cowl a little

on top of that already, i am also going to get 4 inch cowl. i think itll be fun. might as well nova is gone, if it takes a year or 2, so be it.

Change the rod bolts out for some good ARP, especially if you are giving it the Nitrous shot. Also check out this web page: Chevy | Camaro | Firebird Reviews, Performance Parts, Modifications - LS1Tech.com, huge amount of information there and lots of guys that willingly share info just like here. Much better choice than the big Caddy. Those are great truck motors if you want to build a tow rig.
PatOf course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

i was just tossing ideas around only reason i picked up the f-body is because its a better race car then a truck, or else id of just kept going the truck/cad route. people put big block chevies into these 4thg ens i figured why not a caddy, who cares if its hard or impractical!? thats half the fun when things are done and over with.
but i have this ls left from when i wanted to ls my nova, only thing is this car waas originally a v6 but ive found the wiring diagrams on how to repin the harness
Thank you Roger. .
