MultiQuote Message Selection???? BLOG This Post????

Has anyone figured out what the box, "MultiQuote This Message" (the box in the extreme lower right corner, next to "QUOTE" which is next to "REPLY") does? I assumed that it was to roll in several quotes in one reply, but if that's the intent I don't know how it works

How about BLOG POST?? I'm almost afraid to push that one

not yet, this is done with "multi quote", looks like only a single quote.................must be some other magic needed. In the past it was done by cut and paste from multiple screens.

Yep, that's what I see, too, and not sure how to do the old cut & paste way with the screen setup now. This is also a "multi quote" reply. Edit - I do notice that after hitting "Submit" and posting this reply the "multi quote" box remained checked in the reply above, which makes me wonder even more what it does.

However, if you check off the multi quote on more than one post, then click "quote" all those posts in which you have checked off will show up in your text box (this one for example). Really a great tool when responding to multiple posts all at one time.

    Hope you find this helpful.

This is done with "multi quote" again and appears it quotes multiples of what you have posted, not allowing selection of multiple posters......hmmmmmm.
As for the cut and paste I've done before, I just opened CHR in multiple windows, then clicked the quote for the comment I wanted and moved to to the first window I'd started.

Edit, I see Bill posted while I was typing, now it makes sense.

Thanks Bill and Bob for the explanation. I was headed down to the desk top machine to mess with some pictures when the light bulb went off, and I thought, "Wait a minute, if that box stays checked, maybe I can go from thread to thread, check multi quote, and then when I hit "Reply" all of them might show up." Looks like Bill had a head start, but we all got there about the same time...

Now if we figure out the "Blog This Post" we'll be forced into being up to date
