I searched the forums and couldn't find anything so here goes,

Thought it would be interesting to see what our age groups are.

I just looked at the results. It's very typical of the sport I'm involved in. I've been flying hotair balloons for about 30 years. Whenever I go to a balloon event it's very obvious that the grey hairs are in the majority.

We had one of these before, but it apparently got dumped in the update, glad you started another as the previous one was out of date.

Not surprising, but when I looked at it before posting there were 70 views but only 18 votes! C'mon guys, push a button and log your position!!

I know some of it has to do with raising a family and as time has gone by and the kids are on their own (so to speak) it is easier to do something for your self and in some cases splurge. "Life is not getting any longer and if I am going to do it, better do it now". I know I have said it before but I am supported in the hobby by my wife so it makes it easier. I hope the numbers that are reported in the younger age group are what I am describing or the hobby may have a rough time in the future. But then again less than 30% of the viewers have responded.

I pushed the 60s button but feel like I should be pushing the 20s button If only my body felt like I was in my 20s.

Yeah, there were plenty of those morning afters back then. Now days the drinks put me to sleep long before anything bad happens.

sad but true.
aah my misspent (and really fun) youth!

Early 60's but mentally I'm still a young man at heart. Just wish I had another 60= years to keep it up.

Console yourself with the thought that a misspent youth is a thing of joy forever.

My (then prospective) father-in-law told me once that I was 'nothing but a drunken slob'.

She still married me.

And I'm still 'nothing but a drunken slob'.

I just carried on misspending...and will 'til I die.

I'm now in my mid-sixties, and enjoying being above ground.

70 and still at it. (barely)
