Looks like you were smoking when you took the picture. Question is, what were you smoking?

Eh, just hand him some tools and put him to work. Good help is hard to find and you can't be too choosey these days.

Speaking of ghost. I was awakin at 3am this morning. 50 feet behind my yard is a school and a 17 year old took his life by jumping off of the tallest part of the school. How sad for the other guy that was with him. 1/2 hour later, it was like nothing happened.
I'm just trying to keep this from bothering me. It was hailing and the wife heard a noise. It was him hitting the concrete below.
Keep your children well.

Wow, very sad. I don't get it, at 17 most of us were just starting to enjoy life. We were discovering the fun of driving, chasing girls, and hanging out with our buddies. How bad can life be for a young kid to want to end it? I think some of the video games kids are playing these days is helping this problem. They shoot up lots of figures on the screen and it somehow desensitizes the realities of dying.
I think anyone who has laid on an operating table when they are giving you a 50-50 shot of making it will agree, life is pretty sweet when you are facing losing it.

Hate to derail a perfectly good thread, but I just got a call form my daughter asking where my Son was. She said his car wasn't in the parking lot where he works and there was a bad accident on a bridge he has to take to work. 2 injuries & 1 fatality. I went to look out the back window and didn't see his car. Naturally the worst case goes through my mind and I'm about to jump in the truck to find him.
Turns out he had parked real close to the garage door, so I couldn't see his car when I looked out the window.
That got my heart rate up for a few minutes. Don is right, never take life for granted."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.

He was 17, the best high speed baseball thrower from what I was told. I believe it was over a girlfriend. This part is what bothers me besides what happened. He drove a 1972 Dodge Charger. Sounded like he had almost what he wanted. So sad. No have all the details yet. My wife hear some crying from the bedroom window. Odd noise to hear from our area. Then she heard a sound outside with the hail. I came out and watch the crews do their job from my yard. It happened all so quick.

I had my right leg cut off in an accident. I was pulled into a baler and thought I was dead. 12 years ago. I had my hands up over my head saying good-bye to everyone that I love. Then I thought, screw this. I managed to pull myself up onto the platform that was trying to kill me. Could not get that leg out for nothing. Home 3 days later. On the Harley 3 months later. Hey, I was alive.
I asked GOD for one thing before I die. I wanted to be a grandfather. Seven times now. I'm only 53. I kind of hope that stops now. Life is way to short for us. Try and enjoy every minute you can. Love your family like there is no tomorrow.

Don, didn't you know......the shop IS haunted..........seriously. Dan and I have been working in there late at night and stuff will fall on the other side of the room for no reason at all. One night Dan slept there on a creeper all night because he saw someone suspicious cruising the area and he said it was the scariest thing he has ever done. He said stuff kept falling off the shelves. Or we lay a tool down and it disappears, only to later on find it somewhere where we hadn't been at all.
Thought we told you about that, sorry. I NEVER work in the shop late at night alone, too many creaks and noises for me.

Dang! Some people have all the fun. I would love to have someone in the shop to work with, even a ghost, as long as he/she were the friendly type.

My Auto repair business "Smitty's Garage" was established in 1927 by Walter Schmidt AKA Smitty along with a cast of characters Charly (Shorty),My Dad,and a black/chinese mechanic named Freeman(Munch)
I won't say this joint is haunted, but we sure do get some wild noises sometimes, especially if your here by yourself. Couple weeks ago everybody was at lunch and I was @ my desk stuffing a samich down my throat. The wife showed up to get grocery money and while she was here it sounded like a door opened and slammed close. She says I thought they where all @ lunch ? I say they are. She says well what was that noise? I tell her its Smitty or one of em. She gets all wide eyed and says You never told me this place is haunted. Told her I never thought to mention it,its been going on so long I'm use to it and besides none of those guys would ever do anything to harm me.

I figured it was me or ghosts tools are never where I (think) I leave them. I spent a week looking for the dip stick for my big block. Couldn't find it anywhere. The other day it was sitting on top a spare engine in the back room..... I know I didn't put it there.Charlie

I have the same problem with misplaced tools. No ghosts here though, it's just my son using the tools and NOT putting them back. Then sometimes it's just because I'm old & I forget stuff."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.
