It sure would be a shame to lose such a good contributor over something so
small and workable.

On another site I frequent there is a big to do about the site NOT being updated. Go Figure."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.
"LIVE" your life like you could die tomorrow.

What's sad is that as I recall from Hoss' post his complaint was that his bookmarks did not work anymore, and that the screen that came up was not the "normal" screen he was used to. It was pointed out very early following the update that the old URL had to be changed, which is a simple matter of using your search engine to "find" CHR, adding that address to your favorites or 'bookmarking' that URL and deleting the old one. If the name is funky, right click the name, select 'rename' and call it whatever one is comfortable seeing in the list for CHR. Navigation on the site is very nearly the same, if not identical, to what it was "before". Sorry to see anyone leave the forum because of this software upgrade, because Brent has done a great job making the changes minimal to none.Roger

I will admit the first time I seen the new site I was wondering what the he(( are they doing... But after a few times it realy is easier than the old one. The only problem I have if I want to post a picture from a folder I can't bring them up.. I'm sure its somthing I'm doing and will eventualy figure it out. Sure wouldn't leave the forum for that, but like Barb said you can't please everyone all the time.Charlie

Charlie, the picture process confused me at first, too - it's just enough different at the first steps to confuse us. Hit Reply, then "Go Advanced". From there you can type your text, and when you're ready to add a picture scroll down to the "Additional Options" box, and in the middle, "Manage Attachments". The box that comes up is the major difference - if the picture you want to add has been previously uploaded to CHR the picture file name should be in one of the "question mark boxes" and you can just drag it to the "Attachments" area immediately below to attach it to your message, but if not then you need to find the file in your folders. Look to the upper right and click "Add Files" which brings up a new, smaller box and at the bottom of that box click "Select Files". Now you just find your Pictures folder, find the file you want to add, and click it to add to the list, then at the bottom of that small box click "Upload Files" and you're done. One new feature that I really like is in that "Attachments" box, lower right where it says "Insert Inline". That lets you insert pictures in your text stream anywhere you want, just by positioning your cursor in that spot with each item attached. If you preview the post you can also go back and move them around, unlike the old way where they all were at the bottom of the post, regardless. Here's a picture that was on my desktop from another time.Last edited by rspears; 05-11-2011 at 02:11 PM.

Yes I know how to post pictures my problem is all the file pictures have Question marks on them(no picture) so you can't see them. My answer is just up load another picture but that is going to over load the systemCharlie
