What operating system are you using (Windows XP, Windows 2000, MAC OS 9.2.1, Linix redhat, or Unix)?

The laptop most used is Windows Vista, and the desktop is Windows XP. I would bet we have most systems represented when all members are considered.

    Bill,
When you say "browser cache" are you referring to the "Temporary Internet Files" folder? If that is the "System Cache" then it's a matter of searching "My Computer" for "Temporary", and deleting the files and folders in that folder, right?

Click start, go to your accessories folder, then your systems tool folder and click the icon marked "disk clean up" (or something along those lines). Hit the start, when the list comes up make sure that all the boxes are checked, then click OK. When it is done, reboot your system and relogin to CHR. Let me know how it goes.

    Bill,
Thanks for the tip on the "Disc Cleanup" feature. It not only clears the internet cache, but also gets rid of downloads that are not of value. My screen delay issues seem to be much better, if not gone. The other feature in that set of tools is the disc defragmenter which may speed things up a bit, too. I had another problem that came to light on the reboot when my computer went into a Check Disc mode to fix some problems with partial files and bad links. Seems to be better now. Hope Steve's (Roadster32's) problems are resolved, too.
