NASCAR at Dover
Just got back in the house to catch the last laps of the Nationwide race at Dover....and it was a strange finish. It went green-white-checkered with Carl Edwards leading and Joey Logano second. Had to have the extra laps when a car ran out of fuel, on the restart, Carl lost it and caught it, then Joey lost it, clobbered the wall, ran into Clint Bowar and almost flipped him completely over.... Anyway, Carl gets the Big W!
Dover is so dang fast now, yesterday in practice a couple cars came up with the right control arm bent from all the pressure the car is under when it "lands" going into the corner!
Kyle Busch won the truck race last night, and because of the wreck at the end on the green-white-checkered that took Logano and Bowar out, came in 2nd in the Nationwide race.
Tomorrow should be one heck of a good race, gotta love the mile and under tracks, them boys really are playing for keeps!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Dang, you type alot faster than I! LOL... I thought it was pretty classy of Carl to stop on the track and check in with Joey Lagano to make sure he was ok. I hope tomorrow is more great racing without all the nasty crashing.

Yeah, me too! A pit guy did get hurt with all the debris flying around, hope he's ok! Sure could have been a lot worse! Getting on your side with the roof facing traffic is never a good deal!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

And that lil' twit Keselowski come out saying how Edwards ran over Joey.. sigh... Yeah I was amazed when they said a crew member was hit by debris but the 20 car did push the 33 into the air pretty high! Musta been quite a ride!

Ford gets the win on Sunday too!!! This time it was Matt Kenseth's turn. Seems all the boys played nice today! and Mark Martin scored a 2nd place finish with a really gutsy "stay out on the yellow" pit call! Always good to see Mark up there and going fast!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

DuQuoin would be a great track but with only 18,000 seating I don't see Nascar going there. There to much into the money.Charlie

Well at least no destroyed cars - the wrecks during the Nationwide and truck races absolutely destroyed/shredded several vehicles. I figured Bowyer was OK, but Logano's car was torn to pieces with the left side torn off to the 'A' pillar
Good win for Kenseth and finally Ambrose does pretty well, with a Petty Ford.
Not sure Syracuse would be a good track any longer. Way too narrow and the modifieds really tear the surface up during DIRT Week in OctoberDave W
I am now gone from this forum for now - finally have pulled the plug

I didnt see the start, but watched bits and pieces of it up till the last 40 or so laps,,and went to do some work..We were getting some pretty ferocious weather, rain, wind etc,so the signal was playing up,,the digital network suffers a bit with the rain etc..But,good to see Marcos Ambrose doing well..Probably enjoys being back in a Ford,too..I would love to see a rising star we have down here, racing in NASCAR..20 year old Shane van Gisbergen would be the right age to send up there and get in a team..Good to see Mark Martin back up there too...I enjoy watching back runners coming up thru the pack...Micah 6:8

Money is still pretty tight, don't look like we'll even make it to Kansas for the race this year...With fuel, room, and ticket prices so high, just too many other places the money is needed.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

A "skip" = a dumpster.... but he says it's proper english??? Oh.. Okay. Most of us can see the dating site pun, "matching" with an arsonist.. But a "SKIP? How is that a box? It must all be...
