The best dog ever just passed away today
I got a phone call from my fiance' today that our Frankie passed away. I have no kids, he was like my son. He got me through alot of stuff over the years and seeing him suffer this past week was the hardest thing I ever had to go through in a long time. They don't breed them like him he was one in a million. He was our human dog (the absolute greatest dog EVER!) Unfortunately he was very ill and weak. We never found out what was wrong with him. We were going to take him back to the vet to get more test done when I got the dreaded phone call, my fiance came home early from work and saw Frank and she was so happy because he was wagging his tail and smiling (Boxers smile). Minutes later he was trying to sit and fell straight backwards hitting his head on our coffee table and immediately went into a seizure. It lasted maybe 10 seconds and he was gone. Sorry for the sad thread but I know there are dogs lovers out there who can relate. RIP Frankie...we love you!

Wow really sorry to hear this. Our dogs are our kids. I worry more about them than most people I know and love. My Pretzel is part Boxer. He keeps me entertained with his companionship. Tiva our female has also wormed her way into my heart. When our last dog had to be put down, it just about did us in, take care, and when your ready give another one a chance. It helps a lot to get over the pain !" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

We who love animals understand only too well how horrible you are feeling right now. It is such a loss when the pet who has asked so little and yet gave so much either passes away or we have to make that terrible decision to let them go. It still hurts when I think about Sniffy, Scooter, Alto, and Sassy who got old and had to leave our family. They were more than our pets.
It is something all of us face sooner or later, and words can only do so much to ease the pain. Time will help, but you will never forget completely, and that says a lot about the kind of person you are.
Take care,
Don

Sorry to hear of you loss, Sleeper.
I too have been there way too many times.
The unconditional love of a Dog can leave
a hole in your heart when they are gone and
that hole can only be filled with good memories
of our departed friend and partner.
God Bless you both,
meller.
