new chapter
well i am going to school in the fall as many of you know, but i decided against the engine/machinist school and have registered to take my ACT test its like the Sat's, and i am going to try my damnedest to get into Kansas university <go jayhawks!) i just really see no future in the racing/hot rodder industry i see it getting sort of choked off. i still love my cars obviously but maybe not for a job? racing is different though. this is a big part of why i haven't been around much, doing alot of studying and getting paperwork sorted out. was with the lady the other day and seen something that reminded me i aint getting any younger! time to jump on it
so itll be 4 years of school for me and its still 4500 cheaper then 18 months of the racing school. and this school includes costs of dorms!!!!!!! its not all bad.
im gonna get edjamicated
so yes all of my hot rod stuff is offically for sale if you need somehting just pm me and see if i got what you need. i wont need any of it with me.

Scooter---glad you domped the mech school--they suck, don't teach anything beyond oil change and maybe advanced studies how to do a head lite!!!Guy that has been helping us part time owes 60k+ education loan for uti and is seriously under trained---he is going around for interviews looking for full time mech job and most only pay 8-12$
Besides that, I haven't had my truck in Kansas yet so might come down for a beer---

Scooter,
We're about 20 miles from the KU campus, and my wife's an alum and an avid basketball fan. What are you planning to study?Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

thats good to know i will have to come by for a hot rod story swap sometime, my grandfather was a HVAC tech for KU for over 25 years, and the majority of my family is from tonganoxie/lawrence area. ive wanted to go there since i could think. just sort of hit some roadbumps. my aunt is also a school teacher.
looking into a few different studies, working with the deaf has always been one of my interests, also geology and being a techer so we will see.
my grandma lives in tongi, my aunt and cousins in oskaloosa, another aunt in bonner springs.
jerry, this was the auto machinist school. that i chose against. yes we will have to get together and chat for awhile
