You don't suppose it was fixed do you? I mean, how can a professional driver brake his wheels loose on the last turn of the race?

Had nothing to do with anyone spinning their wheels!!! Earnhart just flat ran out of gas and Harvick drove around him!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

If Dale would have won, someone would say it was fixed. He doesn't win and someone says it's fixed.
It's a lose/lose situation for him.Bug

You're probably right, Bug. The conspiracy crap just gets to be a little much sometimes... How are you going to "fix" a NASCAR race anyway??? You've got 43 of the most competitive drivers in the world out there who for the most part already have plenty of money.... Winning is everything when you get to this level, especially with the point system this year. Racing is racing, sometimes the results are very unpredictable. That's why they run the race and don't just decide it all on opinion.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Seems to me all the other guys are talking about the NASCAR race and you are talking about the Indy 500.
The answer is a 20's yr old rookie passing a slower car high about to win slid into the marbles and lost the handle on the car.The drivers are taught to race that race means you have it on the floor all the time.He made a rookie mistake. One that I might add with a car/program that has costs in the millions. With a car in drag racing only at 170's you drive the car way ahead of where you are sort of like a jet pilot going straight.Things happen so fast and turning a car over the 200's it has to be so much worse.Good Bye
Thank you Roger. .
