I do auto fiberglass repairs,,truck fronts, bumpers,,just about anything thats glass or SMC on a truck, car tractor, etc,I repair it..As well as hand laminating T bucket bodies,33/3w bodies,32 5w bodies,a bit of race car work on our Central Muscle Car series[google]cars,,a whole lot of development work for other people,as well as our own molds..Have a new body[for NZ] in the development stages now..No,sorry,cant tell you yet,,cos there are too many nosy kiwis on here..Couple all that up with a few cycle type fenders,,and trying to replace molds,,its no wonder the wifes Customline is a bit slow with progress at the moment..And I am just re assembling a 27 roadster that fell off the road and crashed through a fence..What am I doing this week??Finishing a mold for a splitter for a 68 Mustang race car[in the abovementioned CMC class]laying up a few more similar items,,chopping a pair of doors for a 33/3w,prep work on some 29 roadster frontal bits, working on an engine cowl for a microlite plane,,finishing off the bits and pieces on the 27 roadster, while I wait for the new windscreen,,and if I am really lucky,,some more repairs and mods on the 29 roadster body,,if not too much else comes in..
That just about covers it,,I hope..Micah 6:8

A day in the life of Skip n Cherie. Last month when Cherie and I were on a road trip we stopped by Summit Racing in Atlanta. My Honey laid out the cash for a set of 6" rods and Keith black pistons. I think I'll keep her.

Being today is Sunday, got up about 0530 () walked the pup, made coffee, read the paper, "wasted" some time on the 'puter, painted a couple of garage windows and now having my third cuppa. Now, I'm about to go figure out what width wind wings my '31 needs as the bracket's supplied pattern is "super size". Does anyone know how to cut .25 polycarbonate/LEXAN? Successfully?? Without splitting or chipping??? A bit later might catch some NA$CAR from Pocono.Dave W

It can with a hot knife, electric style, what we use where I work. I've seen them at Harbor Freight, but they're a little pricey. I've cut some before with a very fine tooth blade in a jig saw and that is slow and tedious work.Ken Thomas

The past 3 weeks I have been glued to the TV watching the Casey Anthony murder trial. I've followed that one for the past 3 years since her 2 year old was reported missing and then found dead in the woods 6 months later. Very strange case and even stranger Mother who is on trial.
So, my days have consisted of making breakfast then plopping myself on the couch with Lucky and Chewy napping with me while I watch the court coverage for 8 hours. At night Dan and I hit the shop and are getting ready to pull his engine. Then it's dinner and time to hit the hay.
Not exactly an exciting life, but it beats the alternative.

It's been said that "genius's are up in the middle of the night with ideas.Based on EST and the time of this post, you can see what I am implying here........................
The thing is I never write down anything and then can't remember what it was.So how smart is that??.Another question I debate myself all the time,is IF I am so darn smart, how come I live in the snow belt of the world Roch,NY vs not owning my own island drinking drinks with umbrellas in them and having hot babes hanging all over me??.Well I guess a day in the life of Gary I guess.Just going to have to settle for being unreasonable
cute..........
I'm horsing around and just kidding here.Good Bye

This thing is kinda embarassing (well, not as embarassing as watching a murder trial with two cats, but..............) makes ya confront how much of the day gets lost.
I usually start the day at 5a.m. with about a quart of coffee, and some computer time. Yesterday did some pruning and underbrush cleanup, filled a couple 96 gallon toters for the green recycle pickup. Blew off the tree droppings from the driveway. Made another new young rodder friend when a lad from British Columbia drove down to buy one of the Ford transverse spring I've got advertised. He's in the learning phase. He originally emailed that he wanted what a buddy told him was a "high arch '40 spring". I told I'd never heard of such a thing, but I had a '40 among others, and asked if he could describe what he was doing. Instead he just said he'd drive down! (roughly 125 miles one way) So I'd dug out the '40 spring, when he got there and we started the 20 questions thing. When he got to mentioning he was using a Model A rear cross member I then understood where the "high arch" thing came from. Fortunately for him I also had an extra Model A spring so he hadn't wasted the trip. Then it was get cleaned up again and head off to a high school graduation party for the son of a good friend. Finished out the day with some more computer time getting caught up on race results, emails, and craigslist shopping for poorly advertised "deals".Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
