That was one of the 'fun' TV shows of the past.
From what I've read his passing was almost a blessing with the dementia and Alzheimer's problmes he had suffered over the past few years.

Alzheimer's is a awful disease. I liked Faulk as a actor with a great sense of humor. He will be missed.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

Aside from his many other acting roles, Columbo was pure genius. Nobody could have played that role and made him so lovably bumbling. It was fun to watch how so many rich and powerful people considered him an idiot and in the end he would outsmart them and show how good he was as a detective. Loved the show.
Sorry to see him pass. RIP, MR. F.

"Ah....just one more question that I can't seem to figure out?" and then boom he nailed them! Columbo was a great series, enjoyed it and Peter Falk. Great talented guy!Last edited by stovens; 06-26-2011 at 12:13 PM.

I wonder if his wings will be attached to that Trench Coat?
Rest In Peace, Mr. Faulk.

Saw him last in The princess Bride. I still wish Humperdink would have died. Who said life is fair, where's that written?
Rest in peace Mr Columbo.Got lots of chrome,
It's good for show,
But when I hit the gas,
The pig won't go!

Great write up. I like the fact that of 504 were ever made and that they had two of them. Sounds like they kept good care of them!

A "skip" = a dumpster.... but he says it's proper english??? Oh.. Okay. Most of us can see the dating site pun, "matching" with an arsonist.. But a "SKIP? How is that a box? It must all be...
