Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat !!!!!!!! Me?????????????? Just telling a pretty lady the truth, that's all.
As far as divorce goes, I guess all of us have horror stories we can swap, and there is no question a lot of emotions get in the way (on both sides) of rational/ mutually beneficial decisions being made. I look back on when I was going through it, 13 years ago, and am a little ashamed of the vindictive person I was at that point in time.........ok, I am a LOT ashamed. But divorce ranks right up there with the death of a loved one on the stress meter, they say, and I believe it. It will turn you into something you never wanted to be.
I can relate to the guy in Bob's original post.........he's PO'd to the enth degree, sees his whole life being turned upside down, forced to sell off things he worked so hard to acquire, and is probably going to be leaving a comfortable home to live like a college student once again. Nobody asks for that, especially after you get a little age under your belt, so you strike back and say things like that to as broad of an audience as you can find.
Any of us who have been there probably understand.

I had the best revenge. You know what they say about what goes around ,comes around. Or that karma thing. Well my ex took me for about 20K . The she got remarried to a low life with no job and then after 3 years they got divorced and since she had everything and he had nothing , he took her for over 45K and now she is in bankruptcy.
I inherited some money and paid off my house, cars and have literllay no bills other then monthly stuff. Livin large now.
And then a newer model....
