I've been to the wall in DC. Very impressive place. I got a rubbing off the wall of a friend of mine from High School. Actually was looking for 2 names, but since one died in a cargo loading accident on base he was non-combat so not listed on the wall.

I have a couple I'll look for, my last infantry outfit, 1st Bn/7th Marines, was one of the first to go ashore.

No plans... probably get some time on the car (I Hope)... Since I have to work on my birthday (5th) maybe I'll get some new socks or clothes! LOL

Well first of all, I will travel back to the hacienda and get off the road!

Then down to the garage, not to work on the elky, but to build shelves, open boxes and try to stuff my big old garage with lots of tools and parts into this mini room the new house calls a garage!

Also expecting a mini-swell dropping by so will try to escape that mess every once in awhile for some good old wave-riding!

The weather here in MN has not been good so I really need to finish staining the deck on my house. I've been working on it some every night... even took Tuesday off from work to spend the day working on staining it. So until I get that project done, there will be no "car" stuff for me.

Well decided yesterday to lock the door on the shop Thursday & Friday and take a much needed 5 days off. Went home told the Wife to gather up the 2 oldest Grandaughters (11) . So looks like soon as this day is done we are gonna head up towards Gettysburg. No real itinerary,gonna go to Battlefield Friday morn. then just sight see. Saturday we are gonna do the Hershy deal then what ever we feel like. May run down and take the kids across the Chesapeeke Bay,who knows.Just gonna road trip and relax.

will be defending my pastures fro morons with fireworks. the old county road is just across the tracks. private land now but idiots think it is a roadside park. i hate fireworks with a passion. one bottle rocket will burn my place to the ground.

my butt will be puckered so tight until this is over you couldn't drive a needle up my ass with a sledge hammer. people just go stupid on the first of july. we'll see what happens when i turn loose with the 12 guage .
