My wife talked me into going to a car show on Sunday (ain't she GREAT!!). Took the corvette Convertable and drove home with the top down (1 1/2 hr drive). Ended up with a very sunburned face with raccoon eyes where my sunglasses were. Wife looks the same... ha ha. Watched 2 parades on Monday and got even a little more sun. It hurts when I blink my eyes now with the sunburn on my forehead...

Left St.Lou Thursday morning. Me the wife and 2 ten year old grand daughters. First destination was Gettysburg on Friday spent the day there,Then headed to Hershey World, got a little side tracked and stopped at Williams Grove Friday night .Rolled into Hershey late Friday night and did the Whole Hershey deal for the kids Saturday till bout 2,then headed out for Washington D.C.. Did a whirl wind tour of the area just so we could all say that we've seen the White House. We then headed for Williamsburg and did that till late Sunday and then headed for home.Rolled back in the Lou about 4 pm Monday then went and watched my property tax $$$$ explode in the sky @ the city park. 2,228 miles with 2 ten year olds, never been so tired...... of bubblegum music, video game and phone noises in all my life.Last edited by HWORRELL; 07-05-2011 at 01:18 PM.
