Monday morning, Lexie had a good nights sleep and woke up seeming to be much more "with it" this morning. We talked, as much as you can with an 18 month old, played with her stuffed animals, then just rubbed her back and told her how much we all love her and want her to get better!!!! Doctor's should be making their rounds soon, should know more about her then but in my (Non-Professional) opinion Lexi has improved a bunch since this time yesterday!!!!!! Thanks so much for all your prayers and well wishes.
Justice is sometimes strange, isn't it??? The creep of a boyfriend who did part of this damage to the kids is in jail in Muscatine, Ia......Where I can't get at him for a "discussion".....But, there is another gentleman up here who's son is in the hospital also, and he's a part time deputy in Muscatine. He mentioned to me some of the really nasty things that happen to people in jail who are child abusers and how terrible it would be if word got out that this clown who abused the girls who is in jail and is a child abuser.... Hmmmmmm.... Sometimes other prisoners just happen to overhear this sort of information, and well, things sometimes "just happen" in jail I guess!!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Dave, I just logged in and started reading this thread. What a thing for anyone to go through, let alone a child. My prayers are with you, your son, and Lexi and by the looks of it, everyones thoughts and prayers are guiding the doctors hands in helping Lexi get better. She is in the best care right now and getting stronger every second.
Hang in there...

That news sounds so promising, Dave. We all hope her condition continues to improve. Kids are pretty tough little people.
What you mention about the rest of the prisoners not taking kindly to child molesters or child abusers is absolutely correct. If they found out what he is accused of his life would not be very pleasant.

I feels so bad for little ones now days. I thought my generation was bad with kids.....its getting much worse with each new generation as a whole.Do not lift a rock only to drop it on your own foot

Just logged in and read this. You and your grand daughters have my prayers as well. People who abuse children are the lowest of the low in my opinion and I have no sympathy for them. I hope Lexie continues to improve physically and that the emotional damage is not too great. Mostly I hope that the Child Protective Service gets them away from those "parents" and into the hands of someone who will give them the love and protection they deserve.Remember, Freedom isn't Free, thousands have paid the price so you can enjoy what you have today.

dave the prayers are there for you and yours. I wish kids everywhere could just be kids for a while before they have to find out what a world this can be.
