Lexi is continuing to improve, had some play time with her sister Alisha again today and that went very well. Then she took a nap--and woke up crying...nothing wrong the nurse could find, guess 19 Month old kids can have bad dreams, too. Lord knows she's been through a hell that would give anyone nightmares.
Spoke with a lady (very fine, hard working lady) From Iowa DSS today, she is doing everything she possibly can to get both Alisha and Lexi relesed to me and Grandma by Friday---hopefully to return to S. Dakota if Lexi is released from the hospital by then, where the custody papers to be filed with the court are already prepped and on my attorney's desk waiting for a signature. One more big meeting on Friday to find out if everything is a go to take both girls home!!!!!
Maybe just a couple more days of prayer, gang, and this part of the girl's ordeal will be over and we can began the long process of healing!!!! Every day here I see the power of prayer from all our wonderful friends working!!! Thanks, and please keep it going just a couple more days!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

That's really good news, Dave. Life has a way of handing us things we never saw coming, but in the end it all works out somehow. These little girls will now get the life they should have had all along.

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Still praying hard for Y'all, Dave, and it sure does appear that "the Good Lord" has taken Alisha and Lexi in his loving arms and will place them in a loving environment with their Grandparents. Think I'll put the Social Worker on my prayer list, as well. God Bless Y'all, meller.

I'm glad to get that news today Dave, because Jane and I are leaving home this afternoon and will be out of the country for about three weeks. Since we'll be pretty much incommunicado I was hoping for some good news today ........ AND WE GOT SOME!
We'll be thinking about you and your family, so hug the girls for me.

Prayers are coming from here also. Hate to hear about anything bad happening to the little people. As a parent of 7 kids you can imagine my feelings for" mom" and her boyfriend! Hope everything goes well......crI thought I knew a lot, until I had teenagers!
I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
