Isn't it time to lock this one as well. Why do some just want to b*tch and moan and get the everyone else b*tching and moaning?

Sooooooooooooo then you go on a survey of allllllllllllllllllllll the people the love ya????.Please.That has nothing to do with what I am talking about.Respect is the topic.Or for that matter the lack of it you seem to be overlooking.Did you or did you not have a thread locked for the same topic??.We both know the answer to that. You decided that it was ok to just re-post it.AND that topic once again for you to "try" to understand has nothing to do with THIS site. Then at first I have been trying to be nice about that, but you insist on trying to be right about it.Even ignoring my posts.Bill's ego has nothing to do with why he justifiably locked this topic once before,it is not in the best interest of this site and as always ends up where this thread has.You have a real problem following direction,so to just go off to put together you own site is still more of the same.I mean has ya ever heard a good leader is one that is will follow??.
So my bottom line is(sorry everyone for the lack of a better term)you now have started TWO threads to stir up crap and when I called you on it,complain that you have crap on your stick.Free speech???.Well ya just read some.
BTW-a nice car does not cover for who owns it.This site has thousands of owners with really nice cars. The amazing thing that makes this site so different than any other is how close the members are on this site. It's like a family affair. In your case...........................wellGood Bye

I think Bill has left this open so hopefully people will see that this site is open to members, and I personally hope we can move on to the stuff we all share in common, Hot Rods. I personally enjoy seeing pictures of different rides and learn from all the thread builds. Deckofficer posted some new info about power ratios on his engine that was new info for me. He also has a nice car he has also posted. Maybe we can get back to the subject before this goes too negative, and everyone loses out on potential new members and new info being shared here." "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

The funny part is, this forum is probably one of the kindest, most gentle, and most forgiving of any I have seen. There are some forums out there that are just BRUTAL !
New members are welcomed here with open arms, and treated with respect.......always. Do differences of opinion happen, yep, but as long as you are respectful to the others they will be respectful back. Back them into a corner, and the fur will fly..........that is just life.
My suggestion is to just let this one calm down and get back to talking about cars, life, pets, health, and all the other subjects we enjoy, and move on.
Don
And just for the record, you haven't been around here long enough to know how my user name came to be.

Don,
New members being welcomed with open arms I agree with you.The but comes in to play when a new member does what this one has and disrupts the harmony here.Even challenges the management of the site. That in my mind is unacceptable behavior seriously lacking in respect.Good Bye

They say that in life, you get what you put out.
Put out respect... and you will get it back.
Put out disrespect.... and you get what you earn.

Oh no, I agree with you 100%, and it is pretty obvious that this new member and I do not exactly see eye to eye on more than one subject. My first encounter with him was on another forum where he posted what he thought was a cool video of him driving recklessly through traffic at speeds well over 100 MPH, passing cars on blind curves. His excuse for that was he was chasing some reckless kid on a motorcycle to teach him a lesson !
Relative to this forum, I felt he came in with both guns blazing and a chip already on his shoulder. I think I was offended , like some others, that someone with zero history on here could determine our Mod had an ego problem and was out to get him. We know just the opposite of Bill and Brent, they only butt in when some lines get crossed.
We've all been members of forums long enough to know that people come and people go. Generally, when it starts out this way the life expectancy is fairly brief. But what do I know? He is the one running a forum at $ 75 per head.

Nope, I was just clarifying what Gary thought I meant in my previous post. Personally, I hope this member does stick around. Associating with all the good people on here might rub off a little.
Don
Maybe this is where Bill should step in and close this one.

Bob,
I think many menbers here have hit the nail on the head when they refer to respect. I've seen you over the past two years get booted off several sites and each time it's the same. it's always someone elses fault, the members are idiots and the owner/moderator of the site is a jerk. After being banned you snuck back on Tbuckeers what.... 4 times under different user names and apparantly twice on the hamb? why do you do this Bob? wile on someone elses site you continually self promote your own site, which just isn't a cool thing to do. I've always been very tollerent of "unusual" characters (being one myself helps), and before I figured out your ajenda I stuck my neck out for you on Tbuckeers trying to get you a "second chance". I later apologised to Mike for my blindness, and I won't be sticking my neck out for you again. there or anywhere else.
Would I offer to show you around my shop? absolutly. you're welcome to stop by anytime, but that doesn't mean I have have to agree with, or have respect, for the way you've handled yourself on various forums. maybe you're a great guy in person but just have a problem behind a keyboard. it's happened before.
I hope this clears things up for you where I'm concerned,
Russ

Sighhhhhh.
Guys - we are again getting emotionally involved. Deckofficer is here as well as the other forum I frequent. Yes, he does post some controversial threads but he is one of many. Heck, I even have my momentsWe really don't have to post back with outrage. Let it lie, ignore the post, change the subject and as Don suggested and let's get back to hot rods, pets, intriguing ladies etc.Dave W
I am now gone from this forum for now - finally have pulled the plug

That is what is so crazy. Yes, I returned to the HAMB for the reason you mentioned, it is large and I would like to help other T-bucket owners that are getting dissed, to find a site they would like. Now as far as Mike Ermel's site, never been back even once because he has my IP address blocked. I can't even lurk there, so I'm glad to have cleared that up. On a PM, I might have given you the impression I was back, but it hasn't happened. And the folks there are really kind, supporting Mike since he lost his job.Bob
