Holy cow.Is there no end to this guy's tactics??.Now he is trying to spin this thing by clicking on "likes" and still not saying he is sorry for one thing, lying to all of us about being banned and he knew full well he was,to going around Bill to create this thread in the first place.

ALL forums have only one thing to rely on.That is honestly.

So for me anyways Bob-say your sorry and will do your best to rebuild your rep. Then I will do my best to trust what you post until you again you break that trust.I do want you to stay Bob.It's just I want you to "do it right".

This is not my forum. The thing that is bugging me most is the facts that came about from this thread. No drama from me at all, just the facts.

The start is to own up to your tactics and say your sorry.

Guys and Gals-I do want to let this go,but I think this is a very important point having a member amongst us that has created this kind of violation. It somewhat undermines the one thing I like the most about who we are all are and the community/forum in general.
    Good Bye

I chose to move on and do more of My own thing . But Still think fairly well of this Forum and most of the Members here . With the way you are acting Now I do see Myself return here more often . Looks Like deckofficer has stepped away for now to Let things Cool down just Let him do just that ! As you can see not everyone is going to think just Like you . If he is not going after you Let it alone and Post something that is more positive . Maybe about one of your Builds I may even give you some good info on how to build it

After this most(ly) eloquent post I'm tempted to shut the thread and let it drop into the archives. Instead I'd like to remind those that are reading it that this is the type of thread that creates unwanted/unneeded friction between members (IE" that negative drama I spoke about on the thread I did close). Instead of focusing on the negatives, I'd like to think everyone is mature enough to instead turn towards the positive and allow the ugliness of this thread to wither away.

    Have a great weekend.

    1Gary,

If deckofficer upsets you so much you might want to add him to your ignore list. That way you just won't see his posts. Probably a win - win for both of you.

    Just a thought.

Now that is one class act. and I mean that in all sincerity. I tend to come and go on this site, especially since "the change" but that one post gives me a whole new appreciation for the place. Thank you Bill !!

I'd also like to apologize to the locals, which certainly includes you Bill, as I feel somewhat responsible for turning this thread bad again (not that it was ever good) . I should have used a PM to D.O., or an even better idea would have been to just let it go.... yet again .

BTW: we don't own a dog because our cat would rip it's legs off, feed them to the fish, fart, and then smile from ear to ear.

    Cheers,
    Russ

Don't forget cute woman and of course your special type you like

[quoteThe funny part is, this forum is probably one of the kindest, most gentle, and most forgiving of any I have seen. There are some forums out there that are just BRUTAL !

New members are welcomed here with open arms, and treated with respect.......always. Do differences of opinion happen, yep, but as long as you are respectful to the others they will be respectful back. Back them into a corner, and the fur will fly..........that is just life.

My suggestion is to just let this one calm down and get back to talking about cars, life, pets, health, and all the other subjects we enjoy, and move on.

Speaking of women...........have you guys seen the new picker show, Picker Sisters ? Wow, those two are hot !! Mike and Frank have some competition.

Dan and I have the TV programmed for 10 pm every Tuesday, and we found the best way to watch the show is to turn the sound off.

And I am sorry. I prefer to see a thread go viral for all the right reasons, and this thread that I started, I fully reconize it was I that started it on the wrong foot. Leave it open to see if it will start tracking in a positive direction.

Bob, we all screw up once in a while, like I just did when I made an a** of myself over nothing recently.

People on this forum tend to end up like old friends. We share our good times, our bad times, health issues, jokes, pets, and everything in between. Glad to see you here and hanging in there. I think you have a lot to contribute.

Unlike some of you folks, my wrenching ability did not come naturely, rather my Father who is a degreed M.E. walked me through my first automotive engine and manual transmission rebuild back in 1969. I had rebuilt Briggs engines and Yamaha engines prior to that. As Whip knows, he is the sweet old guy I take care of now, as we lost Mom prior to my graduation from the California Maritime Academy in '97. Yep, you did the math, went back to college in my 40's, to have 20 year old upperclassmen give me demerits for a belt buckle that wasn't shiney enough.

Truly honestly this post has left me speechless.I mean if I say nothing, that can be perceive the wrong way and I don't want to come off with a posting saying the wrong thing either.

Bob,I am asking you to trust me in any problems I had are gone and I am looking moving forward to mending fences so to speak with you.As I have said,I am struggling to find the words to express how I feel.

    Thanks,
    Gary

No worries mate, as I have discovered over the years that my personality is an acquired taste, many will not care for it.
