My baby just started school.
Our baby just started school. Its funny because in the first picture she thinks mommy is going to stay all day. The second picture is after she found out mommy had to go to work. Bless her heart.
The last picture, she wishes she could ride. Not going to happen as long as I'm alive!

I was going to say the same lol
they grow up so quick, won't be long before she's in collage, I bet it only feels like she was born yesterday, Video diary's are good these days, something our parents never had when we were kids, I bet you and your wife are very proud on her first day of school. It won't be long and you will need to start building her a HotRod
congrats and good luck for the rest of the year

Ha ha. Thanks guys. I've got two boys from my previous marriage. One is in college now and the other graduates this year. I always wanted a little girl and I'm happy to say God decided that for me when I met Lisa. She had already had Jayden when we were wed. Her real dad is a deadbeat meth head now and wants nothing to do with her so I legally adopted her last year.
I already feel sorry for the first lad that comes nocking on my door. In fairness to her I will be as nice as I can be. But I will make some suttle hints as to what will happen to him if he hurts her.

Beautiful young lady, David. You've got some great times to look forward to. We just sent our last son off to college yesterday; empty nest time for us.

What a heart breaker she is going to be ! You better put a baseball bat by the door in a few years to fight the boys off.

Almost makes me sad - my youngest grandchild is going into 4th grade, the oldest is a Junior in high school, and just got her driver's license. None live close either. Savor these good days with your little cutie. Like others said - boys are soon going to be beating the door downDave W
I am now gone from this forum for now - finally have pulled the plug

Ha ha. You guys are making me all uptight now. I am so tickled she's my little girl. This is all new. She's daddy's girl for sure. And little does everyone know....my other favorite hobby, guns. Mostly big guns. My favorite is my .454 Casull, oh and the .50 cal Alaskan. And I'm absolutley infactuated with the old side by side coach shotty's too. And dont even get me started about long range rifles...300 Winmag and .338 Lapua. I not much for talking about it here cause I dont want to upset anyone. But I do love that hobby as well.
My son just told me I need to wait for her first date...tell her he has to come in....all the while I'm cleaning my shotgun. LOL's. I couldnt really do that though. I remember one of my first dates years ago the gals dad did more or less the same thing to me.....I never went out with her again. LOL's.
Oh...did I ever mention I have A.D.D & O.C.D.

You're my kind of guy, David; I had boys, and still did the "let 'em see" thing; a couple of their new buds never came around again. My best friend did that with one of his nieces who was staying with them, on the occasion of her first date with a guy in his own car without a chaperone; had his M1A laying on the dining room table when the kid came to pick her up, and asked him to come in for a drink. The young man "yes sir"ed him profusely and politely and had his niece home right on time; she said he was the perfect gentleman all evening.Rrumbler, Aka: Hey you, "Old School", Hairy, and other unsavory monickers.
Twistin' and bangin' on stuff for about sixty or so years; beat up and busted, but not entirely dead - yet.
Getting closer on this project. What a lot of work!
