Accelerating to 203MPH...
It's probably good that the microphone was not set to pick up the driver's voice on this one....
Not really what you'd expect when accelerating to 203 mph. [VIDEO]Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

I bet we could all fill in the blanks on that one, Roger ! A couple of words come to mind.
What is funny is how he keeps looking at the wheel then throws it away.

im not real familiar with this type car, I saw a jerk after losing the wheel, did he rub the wall or what? or was he able to deploy chutes. On the roll bar I saw him reach up what is that?

Serious business, that. But, I laughed anyway - what else could one do? Kill the fuel, pop the chute, and hold on - or, maybe not, in this case..Rrumbler, Aka: Hey you, "Old School", Hairy, and other unsavory monickers.

I don't think they had trained for an "Oh S--t failure! He had no idea what to do. You notice at the end he quit trying to see what went wrong and said what the heck I'm still alive. It would have been cool to see a hart rate reading. I know some of you guys have raced or are racing and I am sure some things have gone wrong that scared the pooky out of you. I can only imagine how you would feel. I have had a couple of close calls and in my case everything went to slow motion!

I told him not to try to pull himself up with the steering wheel when he was taking off.
Maybe the next time he will listen. HE! HE! HE!

I had to laugh. That was funny. Of course all well that ends well. I had a throttle hang going into turn 3 on a restart once. I was near the rear of the field so I was honking when I lifted, or not. I could have done several things, but my idiot left foot just touched the brake, shot me straight into the wall. It was a days of thunder moment, "This is gonna Hurt". It didn't, I build a good cage, but I felt like a tard afterwards. Next week my gas pedal had a toe loop to jerk that throttle closed..........

That same thing happened on Pinks all out. A racer took off and suddenly had the wheel loose in his hands. He was able to put it back on, and said that happened to him one other time too, if I remember correctly.
