The British have landed !
Steve and Sue got here the middle of the week and we got to have a couple of drinks with them Wednesday night. Haven't seen them for a couple of years, and it was really nice to get to chat with them again.
Friday night we all went down to the club where Don's band was playing, and for the first time in years Dan sat in with the band too. We all had a great time, drank too much, and I even got to steal Sue away from Steve for a dance.
Tomorrow we are going out on Don's boat for the day, and then I guess they are leaving for either Jacksonville or South Carolina after that, then Nashville.
They took a lot of pictures and will probably post those up when they get home.

Hi guys, we are currently in Savannah at Tybee island beach, we have 2 days here then we leave for Nashville.
I just wanted to say what a fantastic time we had in fort myers with Don. Don Jnr & Dan & Taylor, we were made to feel really welcome and felt like we were leaving family when we reluctantly left.
Me & Sue want to thank you guys from the bottom of our hearts for making this holiday a very special one, we couldn't of had better hosts, cheersIts aweful lonesome in the saddle since my horse died.

We had a fantastic time as well Steve. You and Sue are wonderful people and a pleasure to be around. So glad to see you both and thank you for coming out to see my band and going out on the boat with us. Great to laugh and joke around and enjoy ourselves so much. Great to talk hot rods with you both too. Please be safe on the rest of your trip. Don Jr.Don Jr.

Steve's Mates aren't going to recognize him when he gets home. He came lilly white and is leaving beet red !
We had a great time and haven't laughed so much in years. Steve has asked us to come visit them, and that would be cool.

Steve the band was fantastic, great musicians, Don Jnr was very entertaining going out into the audience and blowing the horn like a madman, great stuff !!!
Dan was also excellent but is far more studious and laid back.
All in all a fantastic night that we will remember forever !!!Its aweful lonesome in the saddle since my horse died.

Thanks, Steve. So glad you and Sue enjoyed yourselves.........I know we did. As I mentioned, it was the first time I have heard Dan play in 5 years or so because he normally only plays at closed events. He was telling Don last night that he had such a good time he is going to go back again. Don said the band would love that too.
Your headlights should show up any day now, and I'll let you know when (keep watching CHR and I'll send you a PM. Then you can let me know where to forward them to.

Well after leaving Fort Myers we spent 2 days in Savannah, lovely place
This morning we set off for Atlanta, we arrived at 3pm, we found a real nice restaurant called the Peachtree where we dined on southern style Catfish & Steak.
