    Exclamation Black Friday

I have never in my life been near, apart of,wanting to partake in Black Friday sales.I have been putting off getting a coffee maker for the house and one for the shop.Yeah wouldn't you know it timing being everything now I really need to get one.So with this cold I have been fighting keeping me up at night,I am going to venture out to one of the box stores that are open all night along with picking up some smokes.

So if you don't ever hear from me again, that's what happened.I enter on of those stores never to be seen again.....
    Good Bye

Kolh's parking lot packed out at 2:30 AM.No way I was going to deal with that.Went to Wally world super store and got without dealing with any bag ladies two B&D 12 cup coffee makers for about 10 bucks each.Reflecting back now,I am glad I went there in the middle of the night. It was kind of dead and tons easier to do.
    Good Bye

When the so-called "civilized" Americans come up with these kinds of things,
I wonder whether we will ever regain our "sanity" again or if it will just get worse??????

I read about some near riots breaking out over towels that cost less than two bucks!! Really?? I've never been a big mall shopper and only go a couple times a year as a "labor of love" with my wife but this is pure madness! I'll drive a bit for tools or some car parts I may be interested in but I've never been "mobbed" at a hot rod swap meet!

    Stay away from these places!!

I went past our local Wally World yesterday ~9:00 and their parking lot looked like what a Saturday would normally be. I did go into Lowe's and was about trampled by the standard blue hair. They had a crappy $79(??)Shop Vac for $29 that I wouldn't have brought home. A couple folks had 2 in their basket and were carrying another. Some jerk almost ran me down just to be sure I didn't take the last one (there were three left).

I really do not understand the frenzy. It has to be a perception that they are getting a 'deal'. They usually aren't. Often on hard goods, it's the left overs, strange colors or sizes or the lowest end that hasn't sold well. Then the loss leaders ..... A little judicious shopping, in person or the internet will often come up with as good or better. Then of course, some folks just like having some fun - and that I can appeciate

In southern California there was a woman that pepper sprayed people so she would be sure to get some game. In northern California, a family was robbed while walking to their car after shopping on Friday morning at around 1:30 am. The robbers even shot the husband because he did not want to give in to them.

I work for Walmart, not in retail but in reverse logistics. For next three months all i will see is that stuff that everyone returned. Either they didnt want it or it was junk and didnt work. You wouldnt believe some of the stuff people bring back. Found a full box of kitty litter as a return. USED!!!!!. External hard drives with the guts taken out and returned. I hate Black friday. Just my two cents. Happy holidays Everyone.

If I was ever to shop at 1:30am it would be to "avoid" the crowds - - - - - I still vote that "insanity" has to be the only reason. One thing about it is is they sure named it correctly when they called it "BLACK" (meaning gloom) Friday !

What I have noticed this year is the media morons are not flying around in their helicopters showing us how full the mall parking lots are. In years past these clowns would hover over the lots and tell the 4 wheelers where the empty spots were, now that is some news we can use ain't it. LOL
Just pointing out that the tv says how great the economy is and cannot produce the pictures to back it up. Can I please have another plate of BS, thank sir?
