Strange - but I just noticed...

That every thread I open starts with the original post! No matter what page I'm on it has the original post at the top!

Was this caused by the "Garage"? Is this happening to you guys also?

It's not happening to me. I first click on "Todays Posts" then click on the little round blue thing to the left of each thread I want to read. That takes me to the first new post.....

Mike, I noticed the same thing on a multi-page post - when on the second or third page it listed the initial post at the top, then started with the new "answer". Very confusing, but I thought it was just a fluke. Just noticed it this morning.
The place I noticed it was Falcon's 49MoreDoor thread - clicked on the last page, and it came up with his initial post, with pictures, followed by his update on wheels, etc. Like I said, very confusing why it changed?? Gremlins!

Mike, I see what Randy's talking about - if the thread has been updated it appears bold, but there's a round blue dot beside the name with a couple of downward arrows in it. If you hover the mouse over that dot it says "Go to first new post" or something like that, and it skips going to the initiating entry. Must be a new feature, Brent?

I guess I don't care Or I just don't have that problem. Whatever I need to do, I can usually figure out where I am on a particular thread. That Garage Forum - it wouldn't work after several attempts after Bill told me where to go (often) - and I don't care Brent will figure it out, then I'll add mine

Maybe it's just there so people can read the initial post, check the date of the post, and respond to the original question??? Some threads get so sidetracked by the time it's got about a dozen entries the original question is being totally ignored!!!!

Actually, Roger, that feature has been there for a long time. It always sends me to the first new post of the thread. Saves a lot of scrolling....

The garage link works for me just fine. Maybe Brent or Bill needs to post a complete thread with pictures for some that just can't figure it out.

Wow, thanks for mentioning that one. I have always clicked on the last page listed, but then have to scroll to the bottom to see the latest post. The blue dot is a direct shot! Learned something today, which is a good thing.
